August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day, a global event that aims to raise awareness of overdose and reduce the stigma of drug-related death. Naloxone kits save lives. If you or anyone you love is using opioid-based medications (prescription or nonprescription), you should have a kit readily available. Naloxone kits are available, at no cost, at the Well and Truly Pharmacy. Training is required on how to use the kits.
